It took a few weeks this season but Catalina Foothills woke up Thursday morning ranked No. 1 in Division II and that’s where the team has finished every year since 2014. The Falcons hold the D-II state record with 15 state championships since 1997 and the team is working on an incredible 131-1 record since March 4, 2014. How much longer can this record go on?
The Falcons beat Canyon del Oro 9-0 at home Thursday to improve to 12-0 on the year and the team will visit Salpointe (5-7) next Tuesday to end the regular season. The team playoffs start on April 27 and the singles and doubles competition starts on April 29.
The Dorados are now 7-3 on the year and the team will travel to Sahuaro (1-8) on Tuesday.
