There were no major upsets Saturday as the state boys and girls tennis singles and doubles competition reached the quarterfinals in Divisions I, II and III at sites across the Valley.

Only one of the top four seeds in girls singles in Divisions I, II and III bowed out and only one of the top four in Division I, II and III doubles was eliminated. In both cases it was the No. 4 seed. In boys singles and doubles all the top four seeds advanced in Divisions I, II and III.

The quarterfinal rounds are set for Friday April 27 at Paseo Racquet Club in Glendale, The semifinals and finals are Saturday April 28 at Paseo Racquet Club.
