The state boys and girls tennis singles and doubles competition continued to roll like clockwork Friday in the quarterfinals of Divisions I, II and III at Paseo Racquet Center in Glendale.

The top seeds in girls Division I, II and III singles and doubles advanced with ease, all scoring dominating straight-set  wins over their opponents.

The matchups are set for Saturday's semfinals that begin at 10 a.m. and run through the afternoon in all divisions. The finals will be played in midafternoon after breaks from semifinal rounds. All matches are at Paseo Racquet Center.

Here are the semifinal matchups for the girls for Saturday by division and competition:

SINGLES

10 a.m.:  Division III -- #1 Erin Cory (Estrella Foothills) vs. unseeded Katya Pelepelina (Benson); #6 Kindra Holliday (Miami) vs. #2 Allie Scott (Pusch Ridge). 11:30 a.m.: Division II -- #1 Zaina Sufi (Catalina Foothills) vs. #4 Jordan Denesik (Goldwater); #3 Sara Brown (Ironwood Ridge) vs. #2 Aleeza Kanner (Sunnyslope). Division I -- #1 Madison Clarke (Xavier) vs. #4 Lidia Csernak (Hamilton); #3 Mariely Hassey (Centennial) vs. #2 Courtney Amos (Salpointe).

DOUBLES

10 a.m.: Division III -- #1 Leah Stofko-Nicole Bassoff (Phoenix Country Day) vs. unseeded Tanya Nunez-Argentina Morales (Douglas); #6 Taylor Rapier-Kylee Jones (Duncan) vs. #2 Sami Towne-Gabby Courtney (Pusch Ridge). 11:30 a.m. -- Division II -- #1 Marissa Baca-Katrina Domingo (Ironwood Ridge) vs. #4 Sam Goettl-Katie Byrne (Arcadia); #3 Rachana Bhat-Kirtana Bhat (Catalina Foothills) vs. #2 Kelsie Sanborn-Caitlin Railson (Notre Dame). It was much the same for the boys, but a couple of closer matches  in straight sets. The highest seed remaining is No. 6 in  Division I doubles (Blake-Cihlar of Brophy) and unseeded Strong in D-III singles.
