McClintock could do no wrong Monday afternoon at Corona del Sol’s MLK Dream Tournament.
Led by sophomore Josh McManaway’s deadly shooting accuracy, the Chargers were too much for Fairfax, running away to a 90-40 victory, with four players finishing in double figure scoring.

McManaway knocked down five of his seven three pointers in the second quarter, blowing the game open as McClintock (15-4) raced to a 55-27 halftime lead.
McManaway led all scorers with 26 points. 6-6 forward Taimari Jones was equally effective in the paint, scoring 17 points with a variety of layups and put backs off rebounds.
McClintock’s other Sophomore guards Kyler Frye and Iyzaya Soto combined for 25 points.
“I was really pleased with how we played on both sides of the ball,” McClintock coach Samuel Dentz said afterward. “When we can shoot that way it opens everything up.”
Vinny Rodriguez led Fairfax (5-9) with 14 points while Nick Williams added 10.
