The West held off a final-day rally by the East on Friday to post a 27.5 to 22.5 victory during the 24th annual Wyndham Cup golf tournament in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.
The tournament, sponsored by the American Junior Golf Association, draws the top 40 junior golfers from across the country with 10 boys and 10 girls on each team.
Only three golfers went undefeated during the week and all three were on the championship West squad.
Two of them have committed to the University of Oklahoma. They are rising senior Krystal Quihuis of Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, Ariz.), who posted a 4-0 record, and rising sophomore Brad Dalke of Hobart (Okla.), who attends Spring Creek Academy and had just one tie in four matches.
The other unbeaten golfer was Andrea Lee of Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, Calif.), who had a 4-0 record.
