During the start of Saturday’s Arizona Sports Preps 365 radio show, Chuck Schmidt, the Arizona Interscholastic Association’s associate executive director, is scheduled to talk on air about the postponement of the wrestling sectionals.
A handful of wrestlers with a recently discovered skin infection prompted the AIA to postpone Saturday’s sectionals. After Schmidt, wrestling coach Bob Callison of Mesa Mountain View, will join the show to talk about Friday’s decision and his team, the favorite to win the Division I title this year.
Also on the show, Arizona Sports Preps 365 will interview Mark Andrews of Desert Mountain, one of the prized football recruits from Arizona’s high school senior class this season. Andrews signed with Oklahoma.
