The Arizona Interscholastic Association and fast-food chain Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers announced a partnership Thursday.
As a new sponsor, Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers will host the AIA's popular Friday Night Football Wrap Up Show and receive other marketing rights as well, according to the press release below.
PHOENIX – Arizona Interscholastic Association Executive Director Harold Slemmer today announced a partnership with national chicken finger chain Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers.
The one-year deal will provide Raising Cane’s with exclusive digital, broadcasting, and in-game marketing opportunities during designated 2015-2016 AIA Championships, and will also brand Raising Cane’s as the Official Chicken Fingers of the AIA.
“We are excited about the partnership opportunities Raising Canes will bring to the AIA,” Slemmer said. “Being able to host live Friday night wrap-up shows during football seasons at select Raising Canes is an experience that we look forward to.”
Raising Cane’s will also team with AIA to present the AIA Football Game of the Week every Friday during football season. Along with on-site signage and other game day promotions, Raising Cane’s will also be featured on NBC Sports Radio 1060 AM and the AIA Friday Night Wrap Up Show on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM, where Raising Cane’s will also have the opportunity to host two live shows.
Raising Cane’s will also sponsor the weekly Saturday morning AZPreps365 Radio Show.
“Our entire team is passionate about sports and we have high school students in our restaurants daily,” Raising Cane’s Southwest Franchise Partner Justin Micatrotto said. “This is the best way for us to stay connected and share a common love with our guests every week.”
The agreement provides Raising Cane’s with recognition on the AZpreps365.com digital portal for Arizona high school athletics.
