Kirk, potential 1st round pick, joins azpreps365 podcast

Time flies and so does Christian Kirk.
It wasn’t that long ago that Kirk was sprinting his way to touchdowns and titles at Saguaro. Now the Texas A&M junior is viewed as a potential first round draft pick.
During Saturday’s azpreps365 show on 1580 AM, Kirk talked about his future at College Station and his days at Saguaro. We wish Kirk, Saguaro's all-time career touchdown leader, the best as he prepares for a pivotal season and big decision.
Perry's Brock Purdy and Casteel's Gunner Cruz and their offensive linemen also answered our early Saturday wake up call and a quiz to see how well the linemen know their quarterbacks.
By the way, the quarterbacks guessed correctly as to who would ace the quizz.
We also want to thank one of Arizona’s coaching greats, Doug Shaffer, Horizon’s first football coach, for joining us to talk about his induction into the National Athletic High School Association’s Hall of Fame last week.
