Canyon del Oro beat Sabino 6-3 Thursday to improve to 4-0 on the year while Sabino fell to 0-3. Leading the way for the Dorados was freshman Iain Morton. Morton defeated senior Rory Albrecht 6-1, 6-1 on the first court.
Catalina Foothills senior Kelsey Siemons poured in 25 points, pulled down 11 rebounds and blocked four shots but it wasn’t enough to overcome Ironwood Ridge at home in a 48-45 overtime loss Tuesday night.
